Sunera Foundation has been awarded a British Council grant under the Connections Through Culture programme for its initiative titled ‘Unified Stages: Inclusive Theatre Exchange’. This inspiring collaboration with British actor and director Michael Jenn (UK) harnesses physical theatre and storytelling techniques to empower Sunera’s trainers and differently abled participants,fostering a dynamic space for expression and inclusion.

The collaboration offers transformative training in theatre and disability arts to all SuneraFoundation workshop trainers. The first phase, held in January introduced the trainees to specialised techniques and script development. The second phase, scheduled to start from June will provide them the opportunity to further develop these skills and perform the script with differently abled workshop participants under the guidance of the visiting resource person.
